At James Arthur Design Co., creativity isn’t just part of the job—it’s built into our space. Our office is full of “Easter eggs” that reflect who we are, where we’ve been, and the things we love. If you’ve ever stopped by, you may have spotted a few of these. If not—here’s a sneak peek inside our world.
1. The Stocked Fridge
Let’s start with the most important one: drinks. Our fridge is always stocked—and yes, next time you stop by, help yourself. Creative work requires fuel, and we believe in keeping our team (and visitors) hydrated.

2. Foosball Fridays

Every Friday we clear our schedules (for a bit) and battle it out in the foosball arena.
3. The Christopher Walk-In Sign
No, it’s not a typo. Our “Walk-In” sign is a play on actor Christopher Walken, and it actually came from the office that was above Little Nashville. It’s weird, it’s random—and it’s JADC.

4. Mac Coffee Table

Here at JADC, we love our Apple products so much that we turned a few retired Macs into a coffee table. Tech nostalgia is a must!
5. The Jackalope
Don’t have a good explanation for this one. And honestly, don’t need one.

6. Vintage Glass Blocks

These were salvaged from the old Marion Daily newspaper building.
7. Horseshoes
When we started renovations on our office, we discovered around 80 horseshoes buried under the foundation. At first, we took it as a sign of good luck—but we later learned that our building was once home to a horseshoe blacksmith shop in the early 1900s.

8. Our Office Fish

Meet the real stars of the office—our gourami fish. We’ve got dwarf gouramis with bright tiger stripes, flame gouramis glowing in orange and red, and soon-to-arrive pearl gouramis with iridescent specks.
We believe every detail tells a story—and these Easter eggs remind us (and our guests) that creativity thrives in environments that are a little quirky, a little nostalgic, and totally original. Come by sometime—we’ll show you around.
